Aishling H.
Private tutor in Galway, Ireland
Education
I am currently entering my third year in the National University of Ireland, Galway. I am studying towards a BA in Human Rights, English and Philosophy. This year averaged (between all three subjects) at a 2:1, which is about a 3.5 GPA. I have many 1:1's (3.8-3.9) in English Essays, for instance in modules of : Medieval literature, Renaissance literature and poetry, American poetry and Genre Studies. As a side, in my Leaving Certificate I obtained an A1 (highest grade) for my English exam.
Experience
I have been a class representative, student mentor for students with disabilities and un-official tutor for subjects and essay writing for a number of friends. I have been a library assistant, IT assistant and currently work part-time as a tech support agent. My job entails explaining difficult or hard-to-grasp concepts to people of all ages! As a part of my interest in English and the arts in general, I wrote a script for a film competition in October 2014, and am proud to say it won second place! I have also been the Public Relations Officer for my university's Amnesty Society and a Munster Regional Finalist for the European Youth Parliament.

Hobbies
I truly enjoy reading, I often get so lost in a book I can read in the busiest of places and nothing can break me out of that little pocket of adventure! I have a love of languages and am currently focusing on learning Japanese, fluently, and improving my standard of French. I am an extremely curious person and my interests range from international law, technology and science to myth, folklore and art&design. My goal is to travel, study and work doing what I love-reading and writing!
